Our Team
Beacon Accounting Group has a diverse group of consulting resources. On
average our employees and consultants have 10 years of accounting and
finance experience. Our CPA's have backgrounds that include training from
Big 5 accounting firms such as KPMG, PriceWaterhouseCoopers, and Ernst
& Young. Our accountants have experience with companies such as America
Online, Paramount Pictures, Sprint, MCI, and Marriott. Our bookkeepers
have hands-on accounting experience in varied industries including
construction, technology, retail, real estate, professional services,
health care, telecommunications, manufacturing, entertainment, publishing,
and banking. The CPA credentials of our management team help to ensure a
professional and dependable work product.
Jack Foster, CPA - President
Mr. Foster has
more than 20 years of experience including Big 5 Public Accounting,
Fortune 500 corporate finance, national recruiting sales, technology
start-ups, and CFO consulting. His corporate experience includes
positions held with organizations such as Paramount Pictures, Viacom,
Bell Canada, Coopers & Lybrand, Global One, and Orbital Sciences
Corporation. He has 15 years of corporate and individual
tax experience and holds a CPA certification in Virginia, New York,
Texas, and California. He is a member of the AICPA and Virginia Society of
CPA's. Mr. Foster has a BBA in Accounting & Finance from Texas Christian
University.
Jill White - Manager/Senior Consultant
Jill has 12 years of experience in accounting and financial operations.
Roles include Controller, Accounting Manager, and Customer Service Manager.
Her industry experience includes Distribution, Manufacturing, Technology, Healthcare, Banking/Mortgage, Professional Services, and Retail.
Louise Barnes - Staff Consultant
Louise has 16 years of experience in accounting and operations. Roles include Accounting Manager, Operations Manager, and Bookkeeper. Fluent in French.
Her industry experience includes Distribution, International, Software, Professional Services, Retail, Entertainment, Marketing, and Construction.
Patty Donegan - Staff Consultant
Patty has 15 years of experience in Bookkeeping and Operations Management.
Her industry experience includes Landscaping, Construction, Transportation, and Personal Services.
Suzie Tatalovich - Staff Consultant
Suzie has 14 years or experience in bookkeeping, accounting, and management. Her industry experience includes political consulting organization, not-for-profits, law firms and real estate.
Mary Buresh-Powell - Staff Consultant
Mary's accounting experience spans 8 years and includes industries such as retail,
IT consulting, and publishing. Positions have ranged from bookkeeper to senior accountant
to division/project accountant.
Ann Nolan, CPA - Tax/Accounting Consultant
Ann has 18 years experience with roles ranging from controller to tax accountant to
senior accountant. Ann is a certified financial planner (CFP). Her industry experience
includes public accounting, government contracting, professional services,
construction/real estate and corporate taxation.
Tom Foster - Staff Consultant
Tom has 4 years of experience in bookkeeping and accounting. His industry experience
includes hospitality, education and professional services.
Robin Tracy, CPA - Tax/Accounting Consultant
Robin has 15 years experience with business accounting, financial management, and tax
preparation. Industry experience includes government contracting, property management,
retail, print and broadcast media, non-profit organizations, and software.
Kelly Marker - Staff Consultant
Kelli has 16 years of experience in corporate accounting and financial management. Her industry experience includes software analysis, healthcare, and human resources. Her roles have included accounting consultant, controller, and accounting manager.
Susan Sommer, CPA - Tax Consultant
Susan has 25 years experience in tax accounting and financial reporting. Her industry experience includes Big 5 Public Accounting (KPMG and Deloitte & Touche LLP). Roles have included Senior Tax Manager, Director of Taxes, Tax Specialist and Auditor.
Lucy Preston - CPA Tax/Accounting Consultant
